Metall Ehrnsberger offers you precise shims for lining or aligning motors, generators or other mechanical components. They provide excellent service wherever high accuracy is required. Due to their (mostly) hardened surface, they are particularly hard-wearing. We can offer you shims, shims or shims in various designs. In addition to particularly larger dimensions, we of course also offer you fine shims sheets, so that there is sure to be the right solution for your needs. Our shims are available in different shapes and in different thicknesses. We also offer these in various materials such as spring steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, bronze or even as heat-resistant steel.;
Individual cuts with the laser
If you need particularly thin shims sheets in any shape, we can cut them to size by laser. Various metal sheets and foils can be used for this. As a rule, a hardened spring steel, which is defined according to T3 (tolerance - strength), is used for the underlay. We can also process thin foils made of copper, brass, bronze or other materials with our laser. Just talk to us and let us know the shape you want and the dimensions you need. Normally we can offer you sheets of up to a size of 500 x 500 mm with the Laser Shims. The thickness of the sheet metal can vary between 0.01 and 2 mm, so that this variant is suitable for many areas of application.
Cut shims with a water jet
It is known that water jet cutting can cut thick metal plates without any problems. Various forms are possible. With this production variant, we can, for example, produce shims made of hardened spring steel from a thickness of 0.05 mm. For this we have developed a special clamping process that enables us to produce several parts at low cost. We provide you with precise results according to your specifications.
Simply order sheets and foils online
In addition to our custom-made products, we also offer ready-made washer strips. You can order these in various dimensions and strengths. Since they do not have to be made first, these finished washer strips can usually be dispatched within two to three days. You can also opt for sheets from the roll and cut them yourself. In addition to classic sheet metal, we also offer you special steels that impress with their particularly high strength and durability. The range is supplemented by high-quality films. On request, we can deliver our products to your company.
