Product information "Knife steel sheet hardened (420) 2000 x 360 mm"
"
The advantages of this steel are its good wear resistance and minimal internal stress.
With a Rockwell hardness of 49-53 HRC, this material is ideal for gauges, tools and machine knives in the food industry and scalpels.
This special steel is corrosion-resistant in moist air, steam and water and should not be welded if possible, since the martensitic chrome steels are air-hardening.
The material 1.4034 is magnetizable and can therefore be clamped on the magnetic clamping plates of grinding machines.
Other uses/properties:
- Sawing in the food industry
- Fabric knife
- Wear rails
- Print Crackers
- Brake discs
- very well etchable
- magnetisable
